The last stop on our 3 week Caribean tour was a short workshop at the Anton de Kom University in Paramaribo, Suriname. During 2015 the Information Specialists of the University Library and their colleagues of organisations like De Surinaamse Bank, Staatsolie and the Bauxiet company followed a comprehensive training on search, information policy and information management.
As a fresh-up for the ‘students’ we organised a workshop on ‘Added Value’ and ‘How to be Information Hero’. And it was very good to see that the majority of these information specialists see themselves as Information Hero. Maybe not today, but certainly in the near future!
A nice conclusion of 3 weeks visiting our colleagues in the Caribean!
