About GO opleidingen
Based upon more than 60 years of experience, GO offers a wide range of education and training opportunities for information professionals. These events combine theoretical presentations with practical exercises, and consequently their contents are immediately applicable in your daily work.
With an experienced permanent staff and about one hundred freelance teachers, GO relies on a solid basis of knowledge and experience covering a wide range of subjects. Our teachers are active in the field, so they know the latest trends, and are aware of the latest developments, which allows them to include this information in their courses.
Since January 1, 2009, GO forms part of KBenP holding, one of the largest service providers in the field of documentary information in The Netherlands, with a wealth of consultancy experience focused on organizational and management aspects of information.

Besides in The Netherlands, GO is also active on an international level:
For over 10 years GO conducts courses in Patent Information Management in several parts of the world. As an example, every second year we organize a 15 day course on this subject in India (locations: Bangalore and Delhi).
In 2014 – 2015 GO opleidingen conducted the 25 day course ‘Information Specialist’ (HBO-level) for the Anton de Kom University in Paramaribo, Surinam. Besides the employees of the University Library the participants came from organizations like the National Bank, The National Assemblée, Staatsolie, Bauxite Company and The National Archives. The course consisted of 5 modules and 25 days on the topics of information retrieval, search, customer-focused information services, and marketing.
In 2016 GO provided training to information specialists of the Flemish Parliament (Belgium) on the topics: Content Curation, Internet Search and Customer Focused Communication.
In 2016 GO started a series of courses for the employees of the National Archives in Suriname on the topics: Content Curation, Records Management, and the management of (digital) sound and vision archives.
In 2017 GO trained a group op Information Specialist of the National Library of Belgium in the use of MARC21.
In 2018 GO provided a Basic Librarian Course for the employees of the Biblioteku Nacional de Bonaire.
