Introduction in Management of Space Information (Online)

Organizations with activities related to subjects such as: sustainable development, climate change and management of risks increasingly use information derived from observations from earth orbiting satellites. These observations offer various advantages, such as a large geographic coverage, impossible to achieve with traditional in-situ measurements and observations. But how to adequately manage this information and provide it efficiently to the users? And how to integrate space information with information from traditional sources?

Target audience

The course is aimed at participants from the public and private sector involved in the use of information derived from earth observation technologies.

Result

Through participation in this introductory course, the participants will acquire a good basis to strengthen the management of space information within their own organization.
