The theme of Information by the Sea 2023 is Impact: Are we making a difference? Make a difference! With that theme, we want to delve deeper into the social role of our sector and how we can keep ourselves relevant to an ever-evolving society. What difference are we making and how can we make that difference? Consider sessions on community, participation, diversity, decolonization, an inclusive and equal society, ethical practices, sustainability, self-development, user-centered work, social work, the impact of new technologies on our sector and community, the importance of evaluation, measurement and parameters, and so on.
