GO opleidingen took part in the CIL2026 conference, organized by Information Today, Inc. in Arlington VA.
Over 500 librarians, informationspecialists, knowledgemanagers took part in this 4 day event.
We had an active role in the event. Eric Kokke provided a well attended workshop on Thursday with the title “Think different; communicate with a purpose. The attendees learned about a new way to promote their services with the focus on added value and benefits.
Later that morning Eric Kokke chaired a panel discussion on leadership in the digital transition of libraries. Both the panelists, Elaine Lasda M.J. D’Elia and Qaddafi Sabree and the audience got involved in a lively discussion on several provoking statements.
While with our international relations liaison Cheryl Peltier-Davis moderated the B-track with the theme ‘ Beyond Search’ on Wednesday.
During the conference the GO booth on the exhibition floor attracted a fair share of the attendees. A good opportunity to discuss the opportunities for continuous professional development at GO opleidingen.
